I really fucking did it!!

I finished my thesis, defended it, and was awarded my graduate degree. It's been a long two years, and I have missed photography so so much. The downside of being ready to get back into photography is not having a dedicated space to shoot. As I was lamenting this to my spousal unit a few days ago, we both came to the same conclusion: we have to remodel the basement and turn it into my studio space.

I know this is going to be a lengthy process, so in the duration, I will take on a few clients a year, find other places to shoot, and work on getting the studio finished bit by bit until we're ready to open up shop in a permanent way, without the need to find locations or rent VRBOs. We're plugging along! Stay tuned!
