How many of us have thought to ourselves, or said out loud, "I wish I was [insert adjective related to looks or body here]"? It's no small number. As the world becomes increasingly more visible in online spaces, it is all too common that we compare ourselves to others and wish we were BLANK: Sexy. Confident. Enough. Research shows that the more inundated we are with images we compare ourselves against, the more likely we are to believe negative thoughts about our bodies and our looks. More upseting, we are then more likely to think these negative things about ourselves apropos of nothing. The call is coming from inside the house.
The social media landscape is brutal, and in turn, it makes us brutal with ourselves.
Bu we deserve better. We are enough. We are sexy.
